For those of you that don’t know what this is it is a computer term, basically meaning Serial ATA. How the hard drive connects to the motherboard and the rest of the computer. It is official I HATE SATA. It is so bloody hard to install that any speed benefits are negected. Grrr, i have spent about 2 hrs trying to get this thing installed, it just doesnt work. I had to download a driver, which doesnt come with the motherboard. How do you do that with no computer??? Cheap people! I need to try and figure it out now, but let me tell you.

Thanks Kitta, i got it working in the end, turned out the HDD wasn’t working right. It was a IDE hdd, not SATA hdd, then i found out that i was trying to turn it on without power, that took about 10mins to find that out

Come on gussy, you should know the differance between an ATA and a SATA HDD, the ports look completely different.
cheers azz, i know, but he had an adaptor on there, which i thought could work too.
