Well…lets see what has been happening!

Well a lot has been going on in the last few weeks. I got a job. I’m working for the government. It is a great job, great view of the river, pretty good pay, and talk about location. I’m in the second tallest building in the city, whooo!!! It is only a temp job, just to get me money, so i can save for Canada.

I have gone and come back from Melbourne. It was a fun trip with jess. We have decided on the location that were are going to be working in. We are going to kicking horse resort. It is situated in Golden, BC. So plan now, and you can come visit me! I’m going to be working on the lifts and Jess is going to be working at Guest services. I can’t wait, I’ve started looking at weather gear. Seeing as i have never seen snow fall, snow boarded, been on a lift, looked at powder, been on a snow board. I’m am looking forward to having a whale of a good time. We have started up a new travel blog, kickthehorse.com. I have just set it up on the new hosting (Thanks Claire) asmallorange.com. It is pretty good and cheap. SO if you need a little bit of hosting, let me know and we can work something out ;P.

Lets see what else happened. I broke up with Lauren.;( It was a hard thing to do. I don’t like seeing people upset. In the end we are still friends, and hopefully things can remain that way. I won’t go into details, cause, well this isn’t the place for that. I can say however that i did enjoy going out with her, and she is an awesome chick. The next guy that comes along will be a lucky man.

I managed to put my new camera on lay-by the other week, I’m sooo excited. I’m jumping around like a little girl over a just baked cup cake. It is going to be awesome fun to learn how to use. It is a Nikon D70s with 18-70mm lense.

Other than that, not much is going down. I’m working 6 days, and things are saving up nicely. I get stressed out to see if I’m going to be able to save up enough money. It is quite hard to relax at times. So all monetary gifts are welcome 🙂

Hope your all well, except for colds and the like.

I’m understanding the awesomeness of Canada, but I think we need more relationship dirt. It’s just a bit disappointing is all 😉
